My Turn Zero Tolerance & Conduct Policy

This Zero Tolerance & Conduct Policy establishes the safety, conduct, and operational standards applicable to all riders, parents, guardians, schools, activity centers, partner organizations, staff, contractors, volunteers, transportation personnel, visitors, and individuals interacting with My Turn transportation services or operations.

Safety is the highest operational priority of My Turn.

Violation of this Policy may result in suspension, restriction, refusal, or permanent termination of transportation services or operational relationships.

 

1. Violence, Threats & Unsafe Physical Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Fighting

  • Physical intimidation

  • Threats of violence

  • Throwing objects

  • Aggressive or dangerous behavior

  • Conduct creating danger to riders, staff, vehicles, or the public

 

2. Driver Interference, Distracted Driving & Unsafe Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Distracting or interfering with transportation personnel while driving

  • Tampering with vehicle systems or safety equipment

  • Illegal or unsafe mobile device use during transportation operations

  • Attempting to open doors while vehicles are in motion

  • Unsafe rider movement during transport

My Turn maintains a strict prohibition against distracted or impaired driving.

 

3. Impaired Driving, Drugs & Alcohol

The following conduct is prohibited for transportation personnel:

  • Operating a vehicle while impaired

  • Operating under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances

  • Misuse of prescription medication impairing safe operation

  • Reporting for transportation duties while impaired or unsafe

 

4. Weapons & Dangerous Items

Possession, concealment, display, or use of dangerous items is prohibited, including:

  • Firearms

  • Ammunition

  • Knives

  • Explosives

  • Chemical irritants

  • Replica weapons

  • Any item reasonably determined to create a safety concern

My Turn reserves the right to contact law enforcement immediately when appropriate.

 

5. Harassment, Sexual Misconduct & Discrimination

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Bullying

  • Harassment

  • Sexual harassment

  • Sexual misconduct

  • Sexual assault

  • Grooming behavior

  • Exploitation of minors

  • Inappropriate communication with riders

  • Inappropriate physical contact

  • Threatening language or intimidation

  • Retaliation against riders or personnel

  • Harmful recording or distribution of content

  • Discriminatory conduct prohibited under applicable law

My Turn maintains a strict zero tolerance position regarding unlawful harassment, discrimination, exploitation, abuse, or sexual misconduct.

 

6. Drugs, Tobacco & Vape Products

Possession, use, concealment, sharing, or distribution of:

  • Illegal substances

  • Vape devices

  • Tobacco products

  • Nicotine products

  • Drug paraphernalia

is prohibited during transportation operations.

 

7. Property Damage & Vandalism

Intentional or reckless damage to vehicles, electronics, safety systems, operational equipment, or personal property is prohibited.

Families may be held financially responsible for rider-caused damage to the extent permitted by law.

 

8. Parent, School & Activity Center Conduct

Parents, guardians, school representatives, activity center personnel, partner organizations, and individuals interacting with My Turn operations are expected to conduct themselves respectfully, lawfully, and cooperatively.

Threatening conduct, harassment, unauthorized release attempts, operational interference, or repeated refusal to comply with procedures may result in suspension, refusal, restriction, or termination of services or operational relationships.

 

9. Operational Safety Authority

Ride Captains, Ride Coaches, management personnel, and authorized representatives of My Turn maintain authority to make reasonable operational and safety decisions during transportation activities.

My Turn personnel may:

  • Reassign seating

  • Pause transportation activity

  • Require emergency pickup

  • Refuse transportation services

  • Contact parents or guardians

  • Contact emergency responders or law enforcement

  • Modify release procedures when safety concerns exist

  • Suspend transportation participation pending review

 

10. Suspension, Removal & Refusal of Services

My Turn reserves the right to refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate transportation services or operational relationships when reasonably necessary to protect rider safety, personnel safety, operational integrity, legal compliance, vehicles, property, or public safety.

Certain severe violations may result in immediate permanent removal without prior warning.

 

11. Website Notice

Updated versions will be published through the official website of My Turn.

Continued use of services following publication constitutes acknowledgment of the current Policy version.
