Video monitoring is limited to the vehicle interiors and common passenger areas, where occupants do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
Monitoring devices are not used in any location where recording would violate privacy laws.
To the extent audio is captured, My Turn operates in accordance with North Carolina’s one-party consent rule.
Monitoring systems are used only for legitimate safety, operational, and legal purposes, consistent with recognized business uses of surveillance and transportation safety systems.
Information collected through these systems may be used to investigate incidents, improve service quality, respond to complaints, and comply with legal or safety obligations. My Turn maintains reasonable safeguards to protect this information and retains it only as necessary for these purposes.
By enrolling a minor and permitting a minor to use My Turn services, the parent or guardian:
Acknowledges and consents to the use of the monitoring systems described above;
Understands that such monitoring is a condition of participation in the service;
Acknowledges that monitoring is implemented for the safety and protection of all riders and staff; and
Agrees to inform minors, as appropriate, that vehicle activity may be monitored.
Parents and guardians further acknowledge and consent to the use of these safety monitoring systems as a condition of participation.
3. How We Use Information
My Turn may use personal and operational information to provide, support, and improve our transportation services. This may include using information to:
Provide and manage transportation services
Coordinate routes, scheduling, and logistics
Verify rider identity, pickup, and authorized release
Communicate operational updates with parents and guardians, including delays and service updates

Monitor and improve service quality, safety, and performance

My Turn is designed and intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 18.
Children may not independently create or manage accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information without such consent, we will promptly delete it.
All rider information must be submitted and managed by a verified parent or legal guardian. Parents may review, delete, or revoke consent for their child’s information at any time by contacting us at the email address below.
